Principal Architect

Vivek founded Collateral Architecture & Design in 2016 with the intention of bringing awareness in his own architectural practice and understanding outcome of built spaces on human psychology and establishing his practice around understanding architectural awareness in the India. He completed his Bachelor in Architecture (B. Arch) from School of Architecture & Landscape Design, SMVD University, Jammu & Kashmir in 2012. He worked in the field of architecture design, landscape design, building preservation & restoration initially to make the foundation of his practice more inclusive and further developed inclination towards learning about structural design to understand complex geometries of buildings & their constructions by pursuing Advance Masters (M. Sc.) in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions jointly hosted by University of Minho in Guimaraes Portugal & Czech Technical University in Prague. He is inclined to make the studio’s practice transdisciplinary by sharing the knowledge he gained over the years while working with various architecture & design offices and while working on several projects for the studio openly and making practice modest and more approachable for any fellow practitioners.
Landscape Architect

With a background in architecture, landscape architecture and environmental project management, Nikita’s design journey spans India, Germany and Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from SMVD University, India, a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Environmental Project Management from Seneca Polytechnic, Canada.
Her approach to landscape design is rooted in the relationship between people, nature and the built environment, with a particular interest in ecology, sustainability and climate-responsive design. Currently practicing in Canada, her experience encompasses public spaces, residential and mixed-use developments, planting design and urban landscapes.
At Collateral Architecture & Design, Nikita brings a landscape perspective to the studio, working towards integrating architecture and landscape as interconnected systems and creating spaces where built and natural environments can thoughtfully coexist.
Sr. Architect

An architect with 9+ years of experience across diverse commercial, institutional, public, and residential projects in India and Italy. With a Master’s in Architectural Design from Politecnico di Milano, I bring together design thinking, technical development, BIM-integrated workflows, and hands-on construction experience.
I believe good architecture delivers spaces people are happy to live in.
Currently working as an architect in Bavaria, Germany, I am gaining valuable experience in detailed planning, construction processes, and the German architectural environment. My work spans concept development, detailed documentation, interdisciplinary coordination, and on-site execution, connecting design intent with the realities of construction.
I am driven by architecture that combines clarity, purpose, and thoughtful design with practical, buildable solutions.
Jr. Architect

Our newest member, Pratul completed his Bachelor’s from MIT School of Architecture and Planning, Pune in 2026 with an interest in community development and how local design practices shape their surrounding. He has experience working with multidisciplinary teams during his studies through various workshops, design challenges and overall quest for learning, with a knack for construction techniques and how a building will not only affect the user but the built environment as a whole on an urban level.
